Taranto, June 3, 2024 - Acciaierie d'Italia under extraordinary administration is pleased to announce with immediate effect the appointment of Benedetto Valli as Director of the Taranto plant and Giampaolo Franchi as Director of Information Technology. Both will report to the General Manager, Maurizio Saitta.
Valli, whose experience in the steel sector encompasses all operational processes, will continue the path started in the restart and revitalization program, providing expertise, operational skills and knowledge of the environment. Franchi has developed his career in IT and Cyber Security, also boasting solid experience in technological innovation.
