Milan, August 7, 2024 – In support of the revival process of Acciaierie d'Italia in Extraordinary Administration (AS), the extraordinary commissioners have announced a new organization for the Purchasing Department.
The purchasing team at the Central Headquarters in Milan will be assisted by dedicated teams at the company's key plants.
The first unit is already operational at the Taranto plant, with the objective of ensuring even stronger synergy with operations and local suppliers. Similar initiatives are being implemented for the Novi Ligure and Genoa plants.
This new organization will enable more effective definition of purchasing strategies, ensuring constant oversight and better integration with all the Group's production realities. The continuity of strategy definition at the Central Headquarters in Milan, supported by dedicated territorial teams, represents a key factor for the company's revival.
