Milan, June 25, 2024 - In reference to the ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union issued today, Acciaierie d'Italia in extraordinary administration highlights that it refers to facts dating back to 2013, which are now largely overcome thanks to the huge investments made for environmental remediation, in particular the covering of the mining parks, a unique work in Europe.
The goal of the new extraordinary management from the beginning has been to work to comply with all the requirements of the Environmental Plan. The Health Impact Assessment (HIA) on which the review will be based was recently delivered to the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security and the Ministry of Health and from which reassuring elements emerge, subject to the assessments of the competent bodies.
