Milan, June 20, 2024 - Acciaierie d'Italia in AS announces that the joint review application for the start of the new Extraordinary Wage Guarantee Fund (CIGS) provided for companies under extraordinary administration was sent today.
The request, which was sent to the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies, the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, as well as to the Unitary Trade Union Representatives and Trade Union Organizations, will affect an average number of employees up to a maximum of 5200 and will concern all the Company's sites.
The use of the Cigs, which will pivot on transparent criteria of strong staff rotation, will be closely linked to the production levels of the plants and will allow for the completion of the Restart Plan with the activation after the summer of the second blast furnace.
The Company, aware that it is asking its people to make a strong sacrifice, wants to continue to invest in a model of industrial relations that is responsible and capable of accompanying this important phase of change.
