Rome, Feb. 15, 2025 - The Extraordinary Commissioners of Acciaierie d'Italia under Extraordinary Administration (EA) and ILVA under EA announce that at midnight yesterday, the bidding phase, based on the bids submitted last Jan. 10, for the acquisition of the former Ilva plants was concluded.
At the end of that phase, two raises were received from Baku Steel Company CJSC + Azerbaijan Investment Company OJSC and Jindal Steel International, while no additions to what had already been submitted were received from Bedrock Industries Management Co Inc.
The Extraordinary Commissioners will take a few days to carefully evaluate the proposals received and formulate their opinion, which will be transmitted to the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy.
